Italy Petrolhead Tour: A Journey Through Italy's Passion for Cars
A unique tour of the best the automotive world has to offer in Motor Valley. Visit Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo, among others, and fulfill your dream of driving a supercar at Monza and Imola.
The Italia Petrolhead Tour is the ultimate trip for those who want to explore the world of Italian automobiles in depth. From the history of the most iconic brands and visits to state-of-the-art factories to the chance to put the pedal to the metal in a supercar and race around legendary circuits like Monza and Imola.
An 11-day journey filled with pure passion, led by expert guides in Spanish and English, on a road trip that perfectly combines museums, factories, and driving. An unforgettable experience!
The trip begins in Milan, where participants visit one of the world’s finest museums: the Alfa Romeo Museum. A legendary brand whose origins date back to the early days of the automobile and motorsports, with a prominent role in Formula One and close ties to the origins of Scuderia Ferrari.
Next, they’ll take part in a go-kart race, which will serve as a warm-up for one of the trip’s highlights: driving at Monza, one of the world’s most legendary racetracks. The Temple of Speed awaits us, ready to treat us to the thrill of accelerating a Ferrari or a Lamborghini on the very same track currently used by Formula One.
The journey continues as we venture deeper into Italy’s famous Motor Valley, a region steeped in motorsports culture in cities like Modena, Maranello, and Bologna. We’ll visit Enzo Ferrari’s home and the brand’s museum, and participants will get behind the wheel of a Ferrari for a drive on an urban circuit through the streets of Maranello.
We’ll also visit the Lamborghini, Maserati, and Ducati museums, as well as Horacio Pagani’s workshop, where the Argentine designer gives free rein to his dream of building one of the world’s most exclusive cars. You’ll be amazed by the level of technology and attention to detail that goes into producing each vehicle, which is 100% handcrafted.
To round out your experience of learning how an Italian supercar is built, we’ll also tour the Lamborghini and Maserati assembly lines, where the companies known as “the Bull” and “the Trident” produce their flagship models. You’ll discover the secrets behind how some of the world’s best sports cars are made!
To round out the Motor Valley experience, we’ve added a third driving session, once again at a legendary racetrack. This time it’s Imola, where Ayrton Senna lost his life in 1994 and where some of the greatest races in F1 history have been held. There, you’ll be able to put the pedal to the metal in a supercar like a Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, or Mercedes-AMG and push yourself to the limit.
The journey continues along the idyllic Ligurian coast toward Turin, another of Italy’s major automotive hubs. As the birthplace of Fiat and renowned designers, we’ll visit legendary design centers like Pininfarina and the impressive Heritage HUB, which houses prototypes, rare models, and cars that never made it to the streets from historic brands such as Abarth, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and Fiat. A little-visited space that houses one of the most unique collections in the world of Italian automobiles.
